ABOUT ICF CAMBODIA
Founded in 2014 and growing fast, ICF now serves over 1,000 Cambodians of all ages, but the primary focus has been on meeting the needs of children and teenagers. To effectively minister to the people who attend ICF, and to the families of surrounding villages, they aim to provide adequate education and training and improve their health so that the cycle of poverty will be broken. Our mission is to EMPOWER CAMBODIA
THE CALL TO CAMBODIA
In the fall of 2018, I joined my home church, Liberty Church on a mission trip to Siem Reap Cambodia. While there, it seemed as though God was doing something in my heart and that maybe this wouldn’t be my last time in Cambodia. Leaving felt like I was leaving a piece of me behind. After returning home and lots of prayers, I realized that God was calling me to return to Cambodia. In February of 2019, I moved to Siem Reap for six months as a missionary to work with ICF Cambodia. Once I was here I knew I was where I was supposed to be and it didn’t take long for me to realize that my season in Cambodia would be longer than six months. And so, two years later, this is still home.
WHAT I’M UP TO NOW
Siem Reap is home for now. My job during this time will be on the Marketing team overseeing our digital marketing efforts including websites, social media and our monthly newsletter. It’s an honor to be a part of the team that is helping to tell the stories of how God is moving in this country.
